I watched this video on the Goddess of YA Literature's blog, and I thought I'd embed it here. It's very funny and will make you want to read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian.
The excerpt Alexie read here left me and my daughter on the floor helpless with laughter when we read the book together. I'm so happy he won the National Book Award - now on to the Printz! (P.S. I missed him in Skokie, but people who saw him there at the B and N said he was terrific and the place was packed with teens ...)
